The EOI is the abbreviation for Expression of Interest is an online application submitted to the SkillSelect, an online database system owned and managed by Australian Government. The Australian government, state or territory governments of Australia select the candidates based upon their requirements by merit order (by setting up an upper limit of points) from the candidates in the EOI pool for every invitation round.
There are critical details and selection of a particular state or territory for nomination request is mandated in EOI application to get a particular invitation outcome. The different visa invitations are issued to candidates selected from Skill Select for different visa subclasses like Sc189, Sc190 or Sc491.
